Yesterday in a windy Rose Garden, President Bush used yet another word to describe our nation’s economy.

This time an adjective:

Other adjectives have included:

and verbs such as

…

…

Now, I love my thesaurus and consult it constantly.

But, what confuses me is why Bush doesn’t use a dictionary once in a while,

or maybe use the word at the top of the heading in his thesaurus.

You know…the MAIN word that all those other words

are just pretty, dressed up synonyms for:

…

RECESSION

…

That’s it!…that’s the word I keep waiting for him to say!
