A visit to the Sculpture Park begins at the outdoor Welcome Area with information about the 27 acre park and the sculptures currently on view. None of the outdoor sculpture is permanent. The artists are invited to respond to the landscape with semi-permanent, temporary and ephemeral sculptures. Each year a new season “opens” in June with new Sculpture Park installations and a corresponding indoor gallery exhibition that allows visitors to get a deeper understanding of the participating sculptors’ work.

Taking a walk in the Sculpture Park is nice anytime of the year, but in the summer you get the natural features of the park, the artist’s perspective in the sculptures and a guide to point it all out, tours are offered throughout the summer at 11am both Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.
